A short visit to Highgate East Cemetery – 2019

When you visit London it is always worth while to visit a cemetery. This time I went to Highgate East, the cemetery where Karl Marx has been buried. The memorial still draws lots of admirers from all over the world. Also it draws people to the memorial who have not so good intentions. The picture proves that the damage to the memorial is huge. The cemetery is overcrowded with gravestones that have suffered from weather and times. The cemetery closes at 5 o’clock PM and that is good as it is said that it is haunted… Enjoy the pictures.

In honour of the defenders of the Bridge.

Memento Mori counts for all of us.
