As a photographer sometimes to have to rise early: the thing is, you don’t know when it is really needed: so sometimes the worm has already gone when you arrive: in this case… judge yourself!
One of the special moment during my stay in Peru was the visit to Machu Picchu. The holy grounds of the Incas of Peru. Still you feel the very nice atmoshere of ancient times when the sun sets over the mountains.

When you want to see condors flying around, you have to visit Colca Valley in Peru. When you are early and lucky, you will see them flying around. We were vary lucky to see them flying around and sometimes very low: so enjoy the pictures.

In monasteries there is a lot of art present. On the walls there are a lot of scenes depicted like the Wheel of Life, scenes of the life of deities and other colourful scenes. I have respected the rule that you are not allowed to make pictures in temples, but outside temples there is enough to picture: so enjoy the colours.

In New Mexico you will see a lot of red moutains: some of them competely eroded other survicved and formed a aspecial landscape with solitary maintains: Monuments. So Monument Vally is together with the Grand Canyon a place that should be on your travel list!
There are a lot of geese nowadays, so much that it could be a hinder. However the nice feather structure is amazing.
You can dream away with these romantic views at sun rise.

Part of Rotterdam is the Kralingse Plas. At sun set the view is very nice and even a bit gloomy.
At the sides of the roads in Tibet, you see a lot of people offering their animals for pictures. Of course against a small donation.

Haralds dog “Boy” is always with him. That is why we had to drive to Scotland, as Boy is not flying. That was an extra adventure that came as a nice present as the naviagation through the UK can be challenging.
The river Waal is an important water way that is used to carry goods to and from Germany. The container ships are getting bigger and bigger, so the cabin where the ship is steered can be lifted up to be able to see what is in front of the ship.

In Peru you can see the so called Inca stones everywhere. Nobody knows how the incas were able to make the very heavy stones fit so good together, even when there we difficult and strange angles in the fittings. It for sure stays a wonder how they could realise these stone walls.

At the beach in the surroundings of Cardiff you can find metal structure that have amazing detail and a variety of colours. Always keep an open eye for that.
In Peru there is Maras, an ancient place where the Incas already sourced their salt that derived of the water that came and still comes from the mountains. The valley is sacred and the salt very good for your health. If you can: try it!

When visiting the Museum für Gestaltung, you can take a special tour through the archives. There you will be able to see the objects and art that is not accessible to the general public. It is wurth while taking that tour!

When you want to see condors flying around, you have to visit Colca Valley in Peru. When you are early and lucky, you will see them flying around. We were vary lucky to see them flying around and sometimes very low: so enjoy the pictures.

A stupa is a memorial for a person who’s remains often are kept in the Stupa: they are religious places and often used a places where people are blessed by high ranking religious officials.
As a photographer sometimes to have to rise early: the thing is, you don’t know when it is really needed: so sometimes the worm has already gone when you arrive: in this case… judge yourself!
